Meet Photographer Brittany Bentine from Locked Illusions

Texas photographer and Artist Brittany Bentine takes fantasy-styled and unusual artistic photos in her business, Locked Illusions. She also has an Etsy shop and a website, where you can find her unique images – something surprising at every turn! She specializes in the most unusual children’s photos you’ve ever seen. She has recently teamed up with AquaTails, and we are so excited to see her amazing mermaid photos. Check out these photos of our new Red & Black Spots fabric; this is our Cute Tail. Meet Photographer Lynell Hildebrand from Artistic Images

Lynell lives and photographs in the very tippy-top Northeast corner of the US, north of Seattle. She owns a wonderful Etsy shop called Artistic Images. She asked to work with us and we have been delighted to have her on board. She photographed these photos of a little mermaid in our Blue Surf fabric (now sold out).

Meet Photographer Cate Vail

Reno photographer and artist Cate Vail is originally from Victoria, BC, Canada, the mermaid capital of Canada. Island living and growing up in an artistic family inspired Cate to explore photography which eventually became a career. Cate comes from an advertising background, and has been a model for many years.

Cate formed “Siren’s Photography” in early 2011, and creates fantasy mermaid performance art with the beauty of Lake Tahoe as her backdrop. Cate has been photographing for AquaTails for two years, and loves being part of the AquaTails team. She loves the mermaid tails, and has a growing collection of mermaid art. Many of the images on the website are photographed at Lake Tahoe, and local parks in Reno, Nevada.
This past summer, Cate produced a Mermaid and Pirate large scale photo shoot at Wingfield Park that attracted community attention. Additionally, in August, Cate attended the First Annual World Mermaid Convention and awards ceremony in Las Vegas, held at the Silverton Hotel resort. Cate photographed the entire event, plus had time for some impromptu photo sessions at the VIP party in North Las Vegas.
