• You get to choose which plan you prefer –
1 – Whether you want to receive a Play, Cute or Smooth Tail every year, or one of our Specialty Tails (any tail from our Reef section);
2 – Whether you want the tail with a new monofin every year, or for a lower price you just receive a new Tail Skin every year (without the monofin) – this option is perfect if you already own your own monofin;
• Once you start your monthly payments, AquaTails will track it and in one year from your start date you will receive an email asking you to choose your color and tail style (where applicable), and a new tail will be made and shipped to you!

FAQ:
1. What if I start my membership in January, but I want to receive a tail every year in June?
a. In this example, if you want to receive a tail in June, you just have to make sure your account is paid in 12 full payments by June. To do this, you can either pay a lump sum at the start, to make up for the previous 6 months since last June, or you can pay extra throughout the next six months until all 12 payments have been received by June. After that your payments will revert to the low monthly payment and you will receive a new tail every June. Contact AquaTails in order to set up a revised arrangement for your first tail.
2. What if I start my membership but then need to cancel before receiving my tail?
a. Firstly, according to the Membership Agreement you may cancel at any time. Simply sign in to your Paypal account, go to Subscriptions, and click cancel.
b. Secondly, you will want some money back. Because AquaTails will be paying monthly costs and fees and sending in monthly donations, AquaTails will refund 50% of your money paid so far. If you cancel and request a refund after receipt of your first tail, you will receive 50% of the money paid since receipt of your last tail. Simply cancel the subscription through Paypal, then send an email to AquaTails asking for your refund.
3. What if I receive my tail but then want to return it?
a. We want you to be a happy, satisfied customer and we will do our best to make sure you are taken care of. As listed in the Membership Agreement, you have 30 days after AquaTails ships you your tail to return it. You may let AquaTails know if you simply want the problem fixed or whether you want a refund. If you want it fixed, AquaTails will, at its own discretion, either fix or replace the tail for you once you return it. If you request a refund, simply return the tail to AquaTails (the free gift is yours to keep), and after AquaTails receives the tail, AquaTails will refund you 50% of the total monies you have paid in your membership since receipt of your last tail before this one (see #2 above for why this is).
4. Are there any extra costs, such as shipping?
No, shipping is free for members only! The only extra costs will be if you choose to add extra features such as extra fins, etc.
Terms of Agreement
1 – Member agrees to pay the monthly membership fee continuously until Member or AquaTails cancels membership.
2 – AquaTails agrees to send Member a new mermaid tail, according to Member’s plan, once a year. Member will receive a tail after AquaTails has received twelve (12) monthly membership payments.
3 – AquaTails agrees to also send a portion of Member’s monthly payment to support ocean charities of AquaTails’ choice, and to inform Member on a regular basis (through the e-newsletter) of where donation monies have gone to and when.
4 – AquaTails agrees to also send Member a free gift of AquaTails’ choice along with Member’s mermaid tail, once a year after twelve payments have been received by AquaTails.
5 – AquaTails agrees to send Member an exclusive e-newsletter on a regular basis (no less than six times a year).
6 – AquaTails may, on its discretion, host special events, discounts and VIP passes for members only.
7 – Member or AquaTails may cancel Member’s membership at any time, through Paypal. If Member sends AquaTails an email requesting a refund, AquaTails will refund 50% of all monies paid so far in each 12-month cycle, since the last tail was received.
8 – If Member is unsatisfied with their mermaid tail, they have 30 days from the date AquaTail shipped Member’s tail to them to return it for a refund. Once tail is returned and a refund requested, AquaTails will refund Member 50% of all monies paid for that tail.
9 – By subscribing to this AquaFriends Mermaid Club Subscription Plan, both Member and AquaTails agree to be bound by these Terms of Agreement.
10 – AquaTails may, from time to time, revise these Terms of Agreement. Whenever AquaTails does so, AquaTails will inform Member of changes through the e-newsletter.
11 – If Member would like to receive their first tail in less than 12 months, Member can email AquaTails and a revised payment plan can be arranged, for the first tail only. Once Member receives their first tail, the regular 12-month payment plan Member chose will resume.
