Mad Men Diet Plan shared by AquaTails:
So what, you ask, does the TV show Mad Men, or a diet weight-loss plan, have anything to do with AquaTails?
The answer is – me!
For those who don’t know, I’ve been a freelance writer for a number of years, with a few articles published in magazines. I am now also working on my first novel, which you are going to love!
But in the meantime, I really enjoyed the TV show Mad Men and the 1950s & ’60’s style it brought back to our remembrance. I found a public domain cookbook and diet plan for reducing, from that same era. So of course I had to try it out, and decided to bring it in ebook format for everyone today: The Eat Well Diet Book.
Having tried quite a few of the recipes, the thing I love about this cookbook by Charlotte Adams is that it doesn’t cost a lot – most of the recipes use just basic ingredients you can find in your kitchen. These old-fashioned vintage recipes are unusual to us and fun to try. I love how the author speaks very no-nonsense about reducing and what got us into overweight in the first place. She addresses how to handle eating out, wanting our favorite foods, even dessert!!! (I have a big sweet tooth and must have dessert.)
She also has three eating plans for you whether you want to do 1200, 1600 or 2000 calories a day. All the recipes are coded to these plans so you can mix and match and make your own plan.
A gem of a book, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I am! Enjoy eating the foods you saw on the TV show Mad Men as well. 🙂
P.S. Also, I am launching myself under my author name: Jerilyn Winter.
