Do mermaid tails pose a danger? shared by AquaTails:
Here is the latest news story entitled “Mermaid Tails pose safety hazard for young swimmers“.
Parents must always, always supervise their children when swimming, no matter which or any pool toy being used. Swimming itself can be dangerous, so be extra vigilant!
Also, mermaid swim tails are only for confident swimmers with at least one year of swimming experience. Not for novices! In fact, getting a mermaid swim tail (and being good enough to use it) is an awesome incentive for beginning swimmers – get those kids into swimming lessons. 🙂
In my experience, as a good swimmer, it took me only 10 minutes to get used to swimming in a tail. I never have any problems at all with standing up. Swimming in a tail is addictive and I don’t like swimming without it now. It is also great exercise! Try it, it’s awesome for both kids and adults who are proficient swimmers. 🙂
